what is datacenter proxy?
a proxy on server ips owned by a hosting company: fast and cheap, and easy for a target site to recognise as non residential.
the address belongs to an asn registered to a cloud or hosting provider, and that registration is public. any site can look it up in a millisecond and see the ip is a server, not a household. plenty of them keep lists of hosting ranges and block or challenge everything inside. what you get in exchange is a real server line: low latency, high throughput, high parallelism, and the lowest price per gigabyte of anything on the market. that makes datacenter the right tool whenever the target does not grade the network. public apis, your own infrastructure, uptime and availability checks, undefended price feeds, bulk downloads of files you are entitled to. one thing to watch is neighbours. datacenter addresses are allocated in contiguous cidr blocks, so a site that sees abuse from one commonly blocks the surrounding /24, and you inherit that without ever touching the site. myx datacenter is us only at $0.60/gb.
